Cartier founded Cartier for Nature in 2020 to help address the ongoing biodiversity crisis and drive positive change beyond the scope of its corporate sustainability commitments. Cartier for Nature complements the Maison’s philanthropic actions in the fields of human development, women’s empowerment and the arts and culture.
Cartier for Nature is hosted by Cartier Philanthropy, a foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland, which is governed by Swiss law and operates under the supervision of the Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations of the Swiss Federal Department of Home Affairs in Bern. Cartier for Nature is funded by Cartier but operates in full independence from its commercial interests.
Meet the team
Cartier for Nature's Steering Committee provides leadership and supervises operations, making recommendations regarding Cartier for Nature to the Board of Directors of Cartier Philanthropy. Each committee member serves for a renewable term of one year on a voluntary basis.
